Project Infomation
Composed by prominent British sculptor Anthony Gormley and permanently installed on Crosby Beach in 2007, Another Place is a widely renowned artwork. The proposal provides an sheltered space from which visitors can look to Another Place in its entirety, accentuating and directing the user interaction with the installation.
The design concept is derived from folding planes, evoking the composition of detritus and driftwood common to beaches across the country, punctuating the dialog between the natural and build environments.
